Who else is ready for Summer barbecues and pool parties?? We are so excited! We actually purchased our water park season passes back in September in anticipation lol. Honestly, we would be cool with an endless Summer. Keep all the Fall and Winter holidays, but add in the warm weather and we’d be so happy! To get you in the same Summer grilling mood as us, we’re sharing some great kabob recipes on the blog 😉
One of the best things about these kabob recipes is that they are all so unique. There is really no right or wrong way to make this dish. And even if these kabob recipes aren’t your ideal, they will get you inspired! All it takes are some minor tweaks to the type of meat, the veggies, and marinade to create something completely specific to your taste buds =)
Another plus is that kabob recipes are usually super diet friendly. I mean, pretty much anything works if you follow IIFYM, but either way if you’re doing high carb, low carb, low fat, high fat, high protein, you name the diet, you can create a kabob that works for you!
Grilled Hawaiian Turkey (gluten free) The grilled turkey really caught my eye on this! Turkey is so high in protein and pretty lean if you choose to use turkey breast, like it does in this recipe from My Gluten-Free Kitchen.
Yogurt Marinated Chicken Tikka Marinating your chicken in yogurt is supposed to really tenderize the meat. I’ve actually tried this in once in a Greek chicken recipe and it was great, so I definitely think this recipe from Fuss Free Flavours is worth a try!
Honey Mustard Sausage and Potato Skewers from Eats Amazing just screams breakfast campfire to me.
Grilled Eggplant Tahini Satay from Delicious Everyday is great for my Vegan readers. Plus, it looks delish! Check out that tahini/coconut milk sauce on it!
Marinated Chicken Thighs from Fuss Free Flavours looks unbelievably simple and is marinated in a mixture of garlic, lemon, and soy sauce so I bet it’s packed with flavor!
Vegan Tofu Satay Another great Vegan eat from Rhian’s Recipes marinated in a peanut butter sauce!
Marinated Beef Kabobs from Living Sweet Moments uses a super lean steak and a low cal marinade to create a high protein, low fat kabob! Another macro friendly kabob for the win!
Jerk Chicken from Major Hoff Takes a Wife gives us another flavorful kabob recipe with a low cal marinade! I’m loving these macro friendly meals!
Grilled Veggies from Mother Would Know is a BBQ must have!
Grilled Garlic Shrimp from 3 Boys and a Dog is one we’re going to try soon! We buy frozen shrimp in bulk at Costco and it’s great. It defrosts so quickly and cooks even quicker which makes it the perfect main dish when you’re low on time.
Grilled Teriyaki Chicken from Courtney’s Sweets is a simple recipe will remind you of P.F. Changs!
Spicy Thai Basil Chicken from The Flavor Bender.
Soy Marinated Chicken from Natalie’s Happy Health.
